Organizations you work with / represent:

I volunteer regularly for Anonymous for the Voiceless and I am currently assisting a friend in starting Animal Liberation Oahu.

How are you helping to create a vegan Oahu?

Attending as many street actions that I am able to (Cube of Truth/Animal Rights Hawaiʻi) and creating this site and other forms of media (videos, flyers, stickers, etc.) are my main focus. I also try to support local vegan restaurants whenever I can and I would like to start an Oahu vegan athlete group. I am intent on learning as much as I can about improving my activism and being active on Twitter and Instagram as well.

Outside of veganism, what are you passionate about?

I am a teacher working with elementary school students. I am an avid runner and cyclist. I love getting outdoors as much as I can. I also enjoy eating fruits, meditation, and tea.

What YouTube video would you like to show all of Oahu?

Pale Blue Dot - Carl Sagan

What quote inspires you most?

When animals express their feelings they pour out like water from a spout. Animals’ emotions are raw, unfiltered, and uncontrolled. Their joy is the purest and most contagious of joys and their grief the deepest and most devastating. Their passions bring us to our knees in delight and sorrow. - Marc Bekoff

What is your favorite dish to order at a restaurant on Oahu?

Toss-up between the Kinpira Gobo sandwich from Peace Cafe and the Golden Milk Ulu Cinnamon Roll from Juicy Brew
